Ski wax laws cover waxes and tuning products for skis, snowboards and other snow runners. New Hampshire's version adds waxes for boats, surfboards and skimboards.

Which states ban PFAS in ski wax?
Eight states ban intentionally added PFAS in ski wax. In force: Vermont (since July 1, 2023); Minnesota (since January 1, 2025); Colorado and Maine (since January 1, 2026). Scheduled: New Hampshire and Rhode Island (January 1, 2027); Connecticut and New Mexico (January 1, 2028). Other duties apply in Washington (reporting, since January 1, 2026).
