This site runs no analytics and sets no cookies. If that changes, this page will say so before it happens, and a consent banner will ask first.
Forms
The contact, subscription and data request forms send what you type to our host, Netlify, which stores the submissions for us. We use contact messages to reply and to correct the register, subscription emails to send register updates, and data requests to provide the dataset and, if you ask, updates. We do not sell or share this information. To have a submission deleted, use the contact form.
Headline feeds
Some pages show recent news headlines. To load them, your browser requests a Google News feed through a public relay service (allorigins.win, corsproxy.io or codetabs.com), which can see your IP address. Headlines are cached in your browser for six hours. Blocking these requests does not affect the register.
Browser storage
The site stores the headline cache in your browser's local storage. Nothing there identifies you.
Hosting
Netlify serves the site and keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and operations.
